Artist Techniques

In art we are using the techniques from different artists and replicating them Using paint. We are doing this so we can learn techniques and different art styles for the murals we plan to have created by the end of semester 2.

Stencil making

In art we have been cutting out stencils onto card and have been using a spray paint effect using water colour paints and Indian ink. These stencils had to be of common everyday symbols that have meaning to our society.

Art

What bird did you choose: Pipiwharauroa

Stylization: I used stripes mainly for my bird, as well as a small circle for the eye.

Orphist circles: I want to go for a hypnotism effect, with the circles getting larger and larger.
